Lok Chetana Samiti (LCS) is an innovative inter-religious common venture for community building at the grassroots and thus, making a contribution for a social change in the process of nation-building. From its very formation in 1994 we have a definite option for the poor. In our approach to development and social change we have already been with a focus on children, women, landless labourers and other marginalised section of the people. LCS aims at a qualitative change in the society in favour of the poor and marginalised and the realisation of a better society in terms of values like justice, equality and fellowship free from corruption and discrimination of all sorts.
